School heads and supervisors from seven (7) regions and 86 schools divisions participated in the training and orientation activities on the Philippine Professional Standards for School Heads (PPSSH) and the Philippine Professional Standards for Supervisors (PPSS) in December 2019.

Two batches of national training of trainers (NTOT) and orientation activities on the standards were held on 3-5 December 2019 in a hotel in Cubao, Quezon City, and on 10-12 December 2019 in Cagayan de Oro City. A total of 224 school heads and supervisors attended the activities, 120 of whom were from the schools divisions of Region 4A, Region 4B, Region 5, and the National Capital Region; while 104 were from Region 9, Region 10, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

In November, three batches of the NTOT and orientation activities were held to introduce the standards to offices from the DepEd central office as well as seven (7) DepEd regions (Region 1, Region 2, Region 3, Cordillera Administrative Region, Region 6, Region 7, and Region 8).

The first batch, held in Tagaytay City on 5-7 November 2019, was attended by representatives from the central office including the Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development (BHROD) and the National Educators Academy of the Philippines, and the regional HRDD chiefs and representatives from all regions.

RCTQ assisted the Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development (BHROD) in the conduct of the clustered training/orientation activities.
