RCTQ and the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) are collaborating to offer newly-hired Department of Education (DepEd) teachers a more holistic induction package integrating the RCTQ-assisted Teacher Induction Program (TIP) with DepEd’s Learning Delivery Modalities (LDM).

In a series of virtual meetings, the two teams collectively reviewed the objectives, content, and outputs of the courses/modules of both resource packages, their points of integration, and discussed the system and structure from LDMs that can be adopted by the TIP.

In 2020, DepEd Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones issued DepEd Order No. 012, s. 2020 or the Adoption of the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan in the time of COVID 19 (BE-LCP) to provide clear guidance on the continuity of teaching and learning during the pandemic including the conduct of various LDMs.

Integrating courses from the LDMs with modules from the enhanced TIP is expected to simplify the process of onboarding for new public school teachers especially during the pandemic.

Since 2020, RCTQ has worked with NEAP and the Teacher Education Council (TEC) in enhancing the TIP which will be one of the program offerings of the transformed NEAP.  RCTQ provides assistance to NEAP by virtue of DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2019 or the Implementation of the NEAP Transformation where RCTQ was identified as the provider of technical assistance.
