Some of the participants at the orientation for TIP validators on 25 August 2020.

Assigned validators of the new DepEd Teacher Induction Program (TIP) underwent a virtual orientation on 25 August 2020 from the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) with assistance from the Teacher Education Council (TEC) and RCTQ.

The orientation acquainted the validators with the validation tools to be used, and walked them through the course books to be validated.

The set of validators includes teachers from the six regions, public schools district supervisors (PSDS) from the two regions, and one college instructor. They will undertake a rigorous process of review and validation from August 26 to September 1 where they will look into the content delivery, relevance of the content, and the feasibility of the activities in the TIP modules. They will also provide relevant resources that will improve the courses, if needed. After the validation, a one-day Focus Group Discussion (FGD) is set on September 3 to discuss their insights and feedback.

The TIP will soon become one of the program offerings of the transformed National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP). DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2019, signed by Sec. Leonor Magtolis Briones, provided guidelines for the implementation of NEAP transformation where RCTQ was identified as a partner in providing technical assistance.
