RCTQ turns over PPST support materials to DepEd

A total of 24 modules and five videos that will support teachers to reach the Proficient career stage were turned over on September 24 to DepEd Undersecretary for Planning, Human Resource and Organizational Development and Field Operations Mr. Jesus Lorenzo Mateo.
The Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) Support Materials were turned over by RCTQ Director Dr. Gina Gonong. Joining Undersecretary Mateo in receiving the materials were Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development (BHROD) OIC Director Ms. Jennifer Lopez and ther BHROD staff.
The 24 PPST modules were aligned with the 24 Proficient indicators in the PPST while the five ‘videos of practice’ were aligned with the five classroom-observable PPST Indicators.
The materials are expected to support teachers in their quest for professional advancement with increasing levels of knowledge, practice and professional engagement. Developed since 2018, these materials have been designed to support the national adoption of the PPST through DepEd Order 42, Series of 2017.
